Hi! My name is Sylas LaFrance and I’m the owner of Kind Grindz Coffee Co. I was born and raised in Durango and have lived here all my life. My dad had been roasting coffee as a hobby for more than a decade. One day as a way to spend time with my dad, I decided to join him while he roasted coffee. I took an interest in it and started to learn the art. Eventually I was able to roast coffee on my own. That was when I started considering making a business out of my newly founded skill. And so Kind Grindz was born! I start with carefully selected coffee beans from all around the world. I air roast the beans in small batches and deliver them to my customers as fresh as can be.
